The unit arrived and sends out a very strong "buzz" type of signal over a very SHORT period of time. I would have given this unit a 5-star rating if the signal instead was a strong "tap" - "tap" - "tap" like the audible clicks you hear from Peterson's StroboPlus HD metronome and tuner. I (personally) think single "taps" would provide better tempo control; just my opinion. The body beat works and it works well. Peterson's StroboPlusHD tuner/metronome is very NICE and is certainly 5-stars!!! I've tuned my Taylor K66ce 12-string (Koa) using a number of other various clip-on's and box-type tuners, but when I tune it using the Peterson unit, I can hear the improvement! This tuner is now my default go-to tuner to use. I recommend Peterson's tuner/metronomes and the body beat clip. Ray R.
