Metronomes haven't changed much over the years. Since the early 9th century, they've helped to improve a player's musical performance by producing an audible click at a desired tempo. But, recently Peterson suggested a new method.
Since the introduction of Peterson vibe-clip technology, musicians all over the world are now experiencing a way to internalize tempo rather than merely playing along to a robotic wood block or cowbell. Peterson Body Beat products provide a tactile pulse that can be felt but not heard, can be worn discreetly and allows your ears to focus on the music you're creating.
Introducing the Peterson Body Beat Pulse Solo. This rechargeable active clip-on device gives every electronic metronome the capability to silently convey tempo. Connect the standard 3.5 millimeter stereo plug and give your favorite metronome whole new level of functionality. The Body Beat Pulse will even work with the metronome apps on your mobile device. Use the pulse with the Peterson Body Beat Metronome App and you'll also feel three different levels of intensity for downbeats, accents and subdivisions.

The way it is currently constructed, after two or three times of accidentally snagging it, it intermittently stops working.
The cord is deliberately thin in order to be less visible, but no matter what, it is still visible unless concealed under part of a shirt or vest or jacket, which is easy, so they might as well make the cord thinker and sturdier. Particularly, the part where the cord joins the unit could be a sturdier connection.
Also, for the instrument survey, it has all kinds of instruments, including Northumbrian Small Pipes, but there was no "accordion" or "concertina" for me to select. I play those in addition to mandolin and Ukulele.

How do I send my product in for repair?
If you have not registered your tuner, you must do so before opening your support ticket.
All products returned for service must have a support ticket number on the outside of the box as well as on the accompanying paperwork on the inside of the box.
We strongly recommend shipping with tracking information and insurance. Peterson Electro-Musical Products, Inc., and subsidiaries thereof, are not responsible for lost packages in transit to our repair facility.
Include a description of your problem in both your support ticket and paperwork included with your product. Please be specific about the type of malfunction as well as the conditions under which it occurs. Include your name, address, phone number, and email address on the accompanying paperwork.
There is a minimum charge of $95.00 US plus return shipping charges for all Mechanical Peterson tuners received and a minimum charge of $48.00 US plus return shipping charges for all LCD Peterson tuners (unless subject to Peterson warranty). If you would like an advance estimate for service, you must include a request in writing with the product you ship. If you choose not to have your product repaired, there is a $48 diagnostic charge plus return shipping.
Payment options include PayPal, VISA, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover Card.
Any balance is due within 30 days of the completion of the repair. After 30 days, a storage fee will be charged. After 90 days, your property will be considered abandoned and will disposed of at our discretion.
For international (non-USA) repairs and for all Conn and Node tuner repairs, please open a support ticket as different procedures may apply.
