I constantly tune, stringed instruments.
Whether I’m at my recording desk, somewhere in the living room, at my guitar repair bench, or just anywhere playing instruments, I have a Peterson with me everywhere I go.
I’ve enjoyed having Peterson petals, desktop, tuners, rack, tuners, iOS Tuners, and clip-ons. Every single one has been marvelous!
This new colorized version of the clip tuner is nothing short of amazing. All my sweeteners come handy just by clipping this wonderful tuner to part of my instrument.
The Support at Peterson is excellent, the products are excellent, and my music is all the better for it.

I just purchased the StoboStomp HD I already have the StroboStomp and Clip on, both of which I love. this one is exactly what one would expect from Peterson in terms of quality and utility with two issues. Otherwise, I'd have given it 5 stars.
Why did they use the power connector they did? Standards exist for a reason and the 9v coaxial Center Negative connector is the standard for pedal power. Good luck getting a cable for your pedal board multi-output power supply (if you use one) to power this one. It isn't even USB C.
I spent several decades in SIlicon Valley managing hardware and software design both analog and digital. I'd be suspicious of the market research that went into selecting this connector as a design specification and as a Design Manager, I wouldn't have let it through. As it was, I got lucky rummaging around through the old cable bag and found one that fit.
Also, the pre-cut velcro, while pretty, did not stick well at all. You could not move the pedal at all w ...

I bought this tuner for my acoustic guitar which has no pickup in it, and this does exactly what I need it to do. I like the screen and the fact that I can read this in any lighting condition.
As for the quality of the tuning for my instruments, I believe Peterson's reputation speaks for itself. I already have a couple of other HD Strobostomps on a few of my pedal boards for several years now.
I use Peterson tuners in every playing situation. No reason to use anything else.
