Excellent tuners. Had two StroboClip HDs and just upgraded them to HDCs. Love the multi-coloured display, and USB-C/rechargeable battery on the HDC. The sweetened tunings (as per the HD) are great for acoustic guitar.

Peterson's support for my HD's was excellent too; I lost one of the rubber feet on the clip, and they sent me a replacement free of charge!

I first tuned with another clip on and thought it was in tune. Then I tuned with this and got so much better sound. Tuning a Gretsch is sometimes hit or miss. I got many more hits than misses with the StroboClip HDC on. The StroboStomp HD is even better. I now keep this on my acoustics and the other on my pedal board.

They finally have it perfect. Easy to use, easy to see. The clip will not mar a headstock no matter how many times you attach and remove it. It even fits the very thick classical guitar headstocks with ease. My other tuners are unused and relegated to the dust bin.

Can't wait to see how they improve on this.

Does my StroboClip HDC require calibration?

Generally, your StroboClip HDC will not require calibration and should remain perfectly accurate if it has not been damaged.

Unlike more modern Peterson strobes, legacy models such as the Peterson 400, 420, 450 and 700 do require occasional calibration.

If you require service, please open a support ticket and return the tuner for repair.
