A fantastic tuner that's been faultless on hundreds of rehearsals, shows, and gigs. It works well on bass guitar, including extended scale instruments. It is also fabulous on Double Bass too. The selectable colour screen means I can adjust it to suit stage lighting etc, so it's always clearly visible. After owning this for several years, a recent gig took an unexpected turn when a drunk came on stage between sets—someone none of the band knew. I later found out that he had almost certainly stepped on my Peterson pedal tuner, cracking the screen. Thankfully, the LCD beneath wasn’t damaged. I reached out to Peterson’s customer service, and they were excellent—sending me a replacement screen free of charge. It’s a reminder that for every bad experience, there’s often a good one right around the corner. Peterson gear may be a little pricier than others on the market, but their quality, functionality, precision and faultless customer service makes it worth every last penny. The spare parts arrived within a week (shipped F.O.C. to me, based in the UK), and were provided with full colour step-by-step replacement instructions, along with cleaning wipes, stickers, a new tempered glass screen protector, along with the replacement screen. It's now back to new. Quite simply, Peterson tuners went above and beyond; they have a customer and advocate for life. Buy a Peterson product with complete confidence.
