I've been an active musician for 40 years. Starting out, we tuned by ear. Then we got the clunky electronic tuners. Then came the clip-on tuners. All of it was "good enough" for playing together and playing live. But over the years I starting seeing variations in all the available tuners and I started losing trust in them. When I started setting up my own instruments I didn't feel like any of the aforementioned tuners were doing it accurately. So, I researched Peterson strobe tuners and decided to purchase the Strobostomp HD. I am blown away! I play in C# Standard tuning and stability and accuracy has always been touchy. Not anymore! I didn't even know that you could get such a precisely intonated guitar in this tuning (or any!). I'm so completely in love with this product and it's performance that I really can't put it into words. I just don't know why I waited and struggled THIS long!
