Dear Peterson Team,

Thank you for creating such a great product, I really enjoy it!

However, I have a few quibbles about the Stroboplus HDC I purchased, there are possible solutions that the Stroboplus HDC already implements, but I did not see them in the manual.


So, here are the things I dislike about the Stroboplus HDC tuner:

1) The tuning mechanism is great, however you could display the measured tuning difference in 0.1 cents or such, on the display as -50.0 and +50.0 cents, it would be awesome to have that capability on top of the stroboscope disks.

2) The metronome and tones are sounding only through the speaker and not through the Guitar Output jack. It could have been useful to be able to synchronize a whole band or record these sounds cleanly (without a mic).

3) All product functionality is NOT available in the device itself, but it requires registration and the use of the website. I know why you did it this way, because otherwise fewer people would register their products.

The first two are nagging me more, whereas the third one is hopeless and I guess will not change.

But, at least the first thing could be something that can potentially be fixed with a software update, so I have high hopes about reporting it to you.
The second issue, could be also potentially fixed by a software update, but I guess it is more likely that it will require hardware change, which means I will need to wait and potentially need to buy another Peterson tuner which has this functionality. Which for the moment I am not prepared to do since I like my Peterson.

Sorry I could not give this 5 stars, but I still enjoy this great product.
