When my dobro fell on stage, it landed head first on my trusty StroboClip. The dobro had zero damage, because the Clip took the brunt of the force. The lens was shattered, and part of the body cracked. Still, the tuner functioned perfectly. So the show went on in tune. Nonetheless, the folks at Peterson offered me a great offer on a replacement Clip which arrived in a couple of days.
Stroboclip is fantastic. Accurate and easy to use. The support and customer services is Outstanding.

Best tuner, out of several, that I have ever used, and one that I would buy again if I get tired of switching it between guitars. The sweetened tunings make a positive, hearable difference. I had only just learned of sweetened tunings a week or so before I learned of Peterson tuners. The speed adjustment on my 1980s turntable works on the same stroboscopic principle. It’s brilliant.
I hope it will someday soon be supported in MacOS and iPadOS. Since I also own a Windows ‘puter, I was able to make sure the firmware was up to date.

I bought this tuner for my acoustic guitar which has no pickup in it, and this does exactly what I need it to do. I like the screen and the fact that I can read this in any lighting condition.
As for the quality of the tuning for my instruments, I believe Peterson's reputation speaks for itself. I already have a couple of other HD Strobostomps on a few of my pedal boards for several years now.
I use Peterson tuners in every playing situation. No reason to use anything else.

Quick and very precise tuner - definitely best of all I ever had. The idea of spinning block is genius. You can literally see how the string is behave. And the sweeteners for acoustic guitar.... for the first time you can't hear the difference but if you spend few hours with this ACU sweetener and the you try to play with equal standard tuning - you can hear the magic :). Did I mentioned about customer service? It's definitely best service ever - quick response and professional approach. Thank you guys for fix my problem!

After going through several other clip-ons, I purchased the StroboClip. It's far and away light years better than any tuner I've used.
First, there is the accuracy of the strobe. Strobes have always been the preferred method for tuning, and for the $$, this is more than worth it.
Second, given the built in tuning options and the sweetened tuning presets, it was a no brainer. And it's not just for guitar players. It works amazingly well on my P Bass.
They are so good I bought a Strobo Plus HDC for my pedal steel.
Moreover, regardless of how good Peterson products are, I have to shout out their Customer and Technical service. They are FIRST RATE! Peterson is a family owned company (which I didn't know) and their entire staff takes pride in their products, and their commitment to the customer is reflected in those family values.
