Yes, I like this StroboStomp. I just read about the power supply connection in the manual and haven't tried it, yet. The choices of display colors are what drew me to this version. I didn't buy it for the "bling" factor that it has a gold-colored case. I needed a floor model, although I prefer the StroboClip version to a floor version.
When I tried to use the StroboClip HD on my bass, I found I couldn't reach the end of my long-scale bass, so the floor pedal fills the bill. It's just gravy that it starts in the tuning position and the house can't hear my tuning and there's no popping when I shut down the power.

This is the best tuner I’ve ever bought.The packaging was so good I hated to pull it out of the box.Comes with a gold usb cord to set tuning how you want it.Peterson takes pride in everything they make.I bought 75 anniversary stomp box.i wrote the company about an old Peterson I had, they sent me the manual link in less than a hour.So I went straight to Amazon and ordered one that day.
