With a style grounded in the rugged authenticity of humble beginnings and intuitive musicianship, Trenton Gilbert infuses a raw, unfiltered energy into all of his music. Hailing from small town Clover, South Carolina, Trenton draws inspiration from the gospel hymns and 90scountry songs of his youth.
Since moving to Nashville in 2021, he’s had the privilege of playing with some of the best musicians in town and on the road, and most recently, on tour as Jamey Johnson’s pedal steel player.
Trenton has also held multiple weekly residencies singing with his band at the honkytonks of Lower Broadway over the last few years as well.
Heavily influenced by Waylon Jennings, Alan Jackson, and Bobby Caldwell, Trenton blends traditional country with hints of R&B. Telecasters and steel guitar combined with a soulful voice that has been compared to Travis Tritt and Chis Stapleton, Trenton creates an authentic sound that is true to his roots and has excited audiences all over the South East.
